Settling In

Things are going much better now that we have adjusted to living here in Toronto. Jordan has mastered the subway and the buses. I have adapted to being by myself all the time. I am finding more and more to do with myself. Necessity is the mother of invention right? I have been keeping up my running which is good. Melissa (Jordan's sister) is inspiring me to keep it up. I am very proud of you meep keep it up! I think about you everyday when I got running. If you can complete all of your activities all day long I can run for an hour of the day. Jordan has been joining me for the last couple of days. It's been really great because it's a great time to talk too. It also helps the run to go by much faster because we are there to encourage each other.

One of the days we were running last week we passed a church. It was in the upper 80's and we were really hot so we decided to see if the doors were open and they were. We stole a quick drink from the fountain and some information off the info desk. We looked around a lil and decided that we liked the look of the church. We discussed it that night and deceided to go the next day. We got up early and went to the early service. We really liked it. They worshiped in a very contemporary style and the songs were all ones that I was familiar with. They seem to be a very missions minded church. There is a womans bible study tomorrrow night and I think I may try and check it out. Hopefully it will be a great way to get to know people.

Jordan has had a few days off and I'm excited about that. We have been spending a lot of time together. He has been taking care of me b/c I haven't been feeling well. He's been doing a great job. I am starting to feel a little better now.

Tomorrow we might we heading downtown. Hopefully it won't rain like it did today. It was nice after it rained b/c it cooled down. It' s been in the 90's for the last 3 days. It's been pretty hot with our no air conditioning situation.

My parents are coming to visit on July 21st. Yeah! I might be going home with them for a little while, but I'm not sure yet. We'll see.

Well, I gotta go. Jordan and I are going to watch a few episodes of King of Queens. We like that show because Doug and Carrie remind us of us.
